Bad Things Turning To Good Things!

Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Usually, this verse gets quoted when things are “going wrong,” and it’s usually just the first part of the verse. We would do well to remember some qualifications tacked on this verse. However, when things are “bad,” knowing God can work those things together for good is a blessing. If I were to take the ingredients to make bread and give you a mouthful of flour, yeast, or salt, you would agree those things individually and by the spoonful are “bad.” They would also make you want some water (see Eph. 5:26). God can take those “bad” ingredients and mix them in the right way and, with a bit of “water,” produce something that smells good, tastes good, and is satisfying. So, next time things are “going wrong,” make sure you “wash up” in the water of the word, and get ready for something good!
